'GARETH' BY MATTHEW SMALL

Featured by the BBC, award-winning street artist Matthew Small has had international sold-out shows in London, Amsterdam, NYC, and LA. Small challenges traditional portraiture by painting directly onto found pieces of metal to bring physical elements of the city directly into his work, whilst merging them with the human sensibilities of his subjects. His paintings are a colourful expression of his worldview. By showcasing young, marginalised figures of society, Small shares their humanity with the viewer, unrestricted by class, race and social or economic boundaries.
